Trafo Editions in Asker, Norway, is a printmaking studio, custom framer and showroom specialising in the production and showcasing of contemporary print. Founded in 2014 by Magne Furuholmen, Trafo Editions has quickly emerged as one of the country's leading art studios, offering curatorial and professional services within the Norwegian and international art scene.
Welcoming both well-established and emerging artists from around the world, the printmakers at Trafo Editions provide high expertise within a wide range of intaglio, relief and monotype techniques, as well as specialising in large and monumental formats. Trafo Editions also collaborates with several highly renowned artists and galleries to deliver first-class bespoke frames in all dimensions and shapes, ensuring quality and craftmanship in every product.
In 2025, Trafo Editions opened a new exhibition space on their premises, aimed at showcasing and promoting contemporary printmaking by both Norwegian and international artists. Future plans include establishing an international residency programme for artists using print as an integral part of their practice.
