Stein Olav Henrichsen
Chief Executive DirectorStein Olav Henrichsen served as Director of the Munch Museum in Oslo from 2010 to 2022. During his tenure, a new museum for the Munch collection was built and a new organizational structure established. Henrichsen began his professional career as a musician, and after completing his music education, worked as a professional musician for eighteen years across several disciplines. In 1989, he founded the contemporary music ensemble BIT20, which he led for 20 years. From 1993 to 2005, he served as Artistic and Administrative Director of Opera Vest, and later Bergen National Opera (2005–2010). He has established and led several cultural institutions and networks.
Henrichsen has held, and continues to hold, numerous positions on private and public boards, including as Chair of the Ultima Festival in Oslo, Kunstsilo in Kristiansand, Opera Østfold, and the Barratt Due Institute. He has also been a board member of the Nobel Prize Museum in Stockholm, where he participated in the steering group for the new Nobel Center. He has contributed to several public committees related to cultural and research policy and has extensive experience in international collaboration and development projects.

Marie Hepsø
Gallery and Project CoordinatorMarie Hepsø is the Gallery Coordinator for the exhibition space in Bjørvika, Oslo. She holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree from The Oslo National Academy of the Arts, where she specialized in Medium- and Material Based Art. Additionally, she studied Arts Management at Oslo Metropolitan University. Hepsø's academic background is complemented by several years of professional experience within the art field. She began her career as an artist and later transitioned into roles such as a Project Leader at Norwegian Arts Abroad and Communication Officer at Format, Oslo.

Embla Myklebust
Curator and Foundation LiaisonEmbla Myklebust is a Curator and Foundation Liaison specializing in exhibition and project management. She holds a Master’s degree in Art History from the University of Oslo, with a focus on curating. She serves as a board member of Kunsthistorisk Forening (Norway’s Art History Association), and has experience in editorial work, exhibition production, and collection management.
She has contributed to a range of art collections and large-scale projects. Her current work includes collection management and assistant curatorial support for REV Ocean’s art initiative. She has also worked with the University of Oslo’s art collection as a consultant.
