Adam Saks was born in Copenhagen in 1974. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts from 1993 to 1999.
From 1996 to 1997 he studied in Berlin at the HdK (Hochschule der Künste, now UdK) in the class of Prof. Bernd Koberling.
Saks has exhibited widely in galleries and museums across Europe and in the US.
He is represented in prominent public collections such as Statens Museum for Kunst, Kiasma, Ny Carlsbergfondet and Malmö Konstmuseum amongst others.
Saks was the first recipient of the Kjell Nupen Memorial Grant in 2015.
Adam Saks lives and works in Berlin.
